Chroronzon was High Duke of the Eighth Circle, captain of the horde of Beelzebub. He at one time possessed the Dreamhelm. Dream had to challenge him to get it back. They played the oldest game, in which Dream won, and so had the Dreamhelm returned to him. For his failure, Beelzebub ordered him taken out of his sight and taught what becomes of those who displeases him.
